Ghanaians hold funeral ceremony for Sir Bobby Charlton in Accra
Ghanaians in Accra on Monday, November 13, joined England and the rest of the world to bid a final farewell to Manchester United and England legend Sir Bobby Charlton.
Regarded as one of Manchester United’s greatest ever players with 249 goals scored in 758 appearances, Charlton died on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at aged 86.
He was laid to rest on Monday at Old Trafford in a funeral ceremony attended by thousands of mourners.
