Mourinho preparing £25m sign-on fee to lure Alexis Sanchez to Man Utd
By Boluwatife Ezekiel Olaleye
Manchester United Boss Jose Mourinho is reportedly planning a bid to lure Alexis Sanchez away from Arsenal, National Daily reports.
United’s city rivals, Manchester City, are favourites to land the Arsenal attacker, who is out of contract next summer, after failing in a last-gasp £60million move on deadline day.
But Mourinho is hopeful the offer of a £25m signing-on fee will tempt the Chile international to Old Trafford.
Sanchez scored his first goal of the season for the Gunners last week, as they saw off Cologne 3-1 in their first Europa League fixture.
It was his first goal in the competition, despite having previously featured in the competition on nine occasions for Udinese
