Monimichelle to partner Bayelsa Kids Cup 2019
The Chief Executive Officer, Monimichelle Sports Construction Company, Mr Ebi Egbe, popularly known as Moni Love, has officially signed a partnership with the Yenagoa City Football Academy, National Daily gathered.
Organizers of the Bayelsa kids Cup Competition, Mr Ada Gwegwe, who confirmed this on Sunday, said the Bayelsa Kids Cup which has become an annual tournament has come to stay, and will go a long way in the development of grassroot football in the state.
While stressing that government alone can not run football in the country, the award winning coach expressed his gratitude to Mr. Ebi Egbe, for supporting the competition, and his continuous efforts in complementing the efforts of the state government in the area of grassroot development.
This year’s edition of the Bayelsa State Kids Cup will be better than previous editions, as business associates and sports personalities from around the world, would be invited to witness the finals, and hopefully partner with organizers of the competition, Mr Egbe said through a telephone chat.
Moni Love, also commended Ada Gwegwe for his role in the development of grassroots football in the state.
The registration of this year’s Bayelsa Kids Cup, the 5th edition, has already started since February 28, and will end on March 25th, with the competition proper slated for April.
