Aisha says Buhari will soon return home
- As she arrives Nigeria Tuesday
Wife of the President, Hajia Aisha Buhari, has conveyed the message that President Muhammadu Buhari would soon return to Nigeria, saying that the President is recovering fast from his ailment.
Aisha Buhari, who arrived Nigeria Tuesday morning from the United Kingdom where she went to visit her husband, who is on medical vacation in London, thanked Nigerians for continuous support for the President.
In a statement by Suleiman Haruna, her spokesperson, Mrs. Buhari, on arrival, conveyed the appreciation of President Buhari to Nigerians over their constant prayers and said he would soon return to the country.
Hajia Buhari, in the statement, maintained that her husband was recovering fast.
Aisha appealed to Nigerians to continue to be strong in the face of challenges and to support the Federal Government in implementing the agenda for which they were elected.
“Mr. President thanked the Acting President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo for his loyalty and called on Nigerians to continue to support the Acting President in his effort to actualize the mandate of the All Progressives Congress,” she said.
Hajia. Buhari left the shores of Nigeria for the UK on May 30, 2017, to visit her husband.
President Buhari departed Nigeria for the |UK on May 7 for further medical vacation after his earlier vacation in February.
The President returned to Nigeria on March 10 after spending 51 days in the UK after attending medical checks on his health.
