BREAKING: At last, Juventus break silence on Cristiano Ronaldo
The transfer speculation over Cristiano Ronaldo’s transfer away from Juventus has been raging.
While some recent reports have linked him with a return to Real Madrid, others have speculated that he could be joining Lionel Messi at Paris Saint-Germain.
However, the latest report has revealed that the Portugal captain could be heading to Manchester City with further report suggesting that the 36-year-old has already spoken with Pep Guardiola with personal terms even agreed.
Though Juventus have previously maintained that their star player has not declared his intention to quit the Turin club, but latest report has suggested that the Serie A giants have finally revealed that the five-time Ballon d’Or Award winner will be leaving.
Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri speaking on Thursday revealed that Ronaldo has finally expressed his intention to quit Juventus.
‘Yesterday, Cristiano told me that he no longer has any intention to play for Juventus. For this reason he will not be called up for tomorrow’s game.
‘Things change, it’s a law of life. Juventus remains, which is the most important thing. He gave his contribution, he made himself available, now he leaves and life goes on.
‘Cristiano is to be thanked for what he has done, also as an example amongst the youngsters. But as I said, we must go on.’
