Fidelity Bank feeds over 1,500 vulnerable residents in Osun State
Fidelity Bank has provided food assistance to more than 1,500 residents, including women, children, widows, and the elderly, in Osun State through a one-day feeding program.
The initiative, held at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Osogbo, is part of the bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts to alleviate hunger among vulnerable populations.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Meksley Nwagboh, Divisional Head of Brand and Communication at Fidelity Bank Plc, described the Food Bank Initiative as a vital contribution to supporting the less privileged.
He emphasized the bank’s commitment to addressing food security challenges by partnering with NGOs to reach communities in need.
“There is always a significant turnout during our Food Bank outreaches,” Nwagboh noted. “Today, we brought over 1,500 packs of food items for distribution and plan to continue helping communities across the country.”
