Plateau Rep member Bagos, begins re-election campaign

The House of Representative Member (PDP), Plateau State, Hon. Dachung Musa Bagos has flagged off his re-election campaign, promising to improve security, end poverty, and sponsor bills that will ensure the sustenance of improved welfare if voted back to the green Chembers.

Bagos, who seeks a return in the 2023 general elections, said among his many achievements so far as a lawmaker, he will not relent in pressing for a better legislature that will further improve the living standard of his people.

Speaking on Tuesday in his home town in Vwang, Jos South local government area of the State, Bagos equally appealed to his people to also vote all PDP candidates from top to bottom, laying special emphasis on the party’s governorship candidate, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang.

He said if all PDP aspirants are all elected in the forthcoming elections, nothing short of development should be expected in the 17 LGAs of the State.

He boasted that no political party however will defeat the PDP in Jos South and in his village in Vwang, but equally appealed to electorates who have not collected their permanent voters card (PVC) to hurriedly do so.

According to him: “We are confident that with your support PDP will win the 2023 elections, and we will continue to work in the interest of our people. We will continue to speak in defense of our people because they are our priority”.

“I want to be assured that there is no party in Vwang, my home town except the PDP. If we elect Barr. Mutfwang as the Governor, he will construct our roads, end insecurity,  provide electricity, build schools, hospitals and also end poverty in our society”, he said.

Also in his address, the State PDP Chairman, Hon. Chris Hassan thanked the people of Vwang and the entire Jos South for turning out for the flag-off campaign.

Hassan described Vwang and Jos South as the stronghold of the PDP in the State, saying that Plateau people are ready to return PDP to power to rescue the country and restore the economy.

“We will restore the economy and there will be jobs for the teeming youths of this State; we need your support to restore the country. PDP will not disappoint you, he said.

However, while commissioning a multi-million naira community hall and Police post, constructed by Bagos, the governorship candidate, Muftwang, urged the people to also vote for the Presidential candidate of the party, Atiku Abubakar, and all PDP candidates in the interest of peace, unity, and progress in Nigeria.

“Please go and collect your voter’s card from INEC and vote to return PDP to power in 2023. If you vote for me as Governor and all PDP candidates contesting for various offices, we will restore the State back to its lost glory”, Muftwang said.
