Presidency 2023: Ekweremadu commends Atiku, says Okowa brings immense electoral value to PDP ticket
Former Deputy President of the Senate, Ike Ekweremadu, on Thursday celebrated the choice of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State by Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as his running mate. Ekweremadu in a statement on his official Facebook page, said that Okowa brings immense electoral value to the PDP ticket in the 2023 presidential election.
Ekweremadu stated: “This is a sound choice by our presidential flagbearer, H.E Atiku Abubakar, and our party.
“No doubt, Okowa brings immense electoral value to the PDP ticket and is highly resourceful and he is prepared for the office of the VP.”
Ekweremadu, therefore, aligned with PDP leaders, party faithful, and supporters in congratulating Governor Okowa, on his emergence as the party’s vice presidential candidate.
He appealed to every party leader and member to work for the success of the Atiku/Okowa joint presidential ticket in the 2023 presidential election.
