Support Soludo, Anambra stalwart charges statesmen

A billionaire businessman who hail from Osumenyi community in Nnewi South Local Government Area of Anambra State, Amb. Nelson Mkparu has congratulated the state governor – elect, Professor Chukwuma Soludo on his victory in the last governorship election.
Mkparu who is a giant pipe producer with headquarters in Jos, said he thanked Anambra people who braved all odds and came out to perform their civic duties.
“I urge Anambarians to support the in-coming governor through prayers and other legitimate means to see that Anambra returns to her former glory as the Light of the Nation”, he said.
Our correspondent had reported that the Independent National Electoral Commission on Wednesday declared Soludo the winner of the election which was held on November 6.
However, delighted with the peaceful conducted of the polls Mkparu stated that the election results showed that Nigeria’s democracy has won.
“While I congratulate the winner of the elections, Soludo, I believe that it is Nigeria and her democracy that won from the results and the conduct of the polls”.
The NELMACO company’s boss also commends the security agencies deployed in the State for maintaining law and order, before, during and after the conduct of the elections with no known cases of violence.
