The rare thing this fisherman caught will amaze you
There have obviously been some creatures that have continued to wow mankind.
National Daily recalls in 2011 when two fishermen in Dorset caught an albino or “crystal lobster”, with the odds estimated to be one in 100 million.
Again, in 2017 an orange lobster was caught in Wales and was taken to Angeslsey Sea Zoo.
These rare developments have been on record as moments of astonishments.
Meanwhile, a similar wonder has just been witnessed in Scotland through Ricky Greenhowe.
Greenhowe, 47, a fisherman of over three decades has been fishing off Aberdeen since he was a teenager.
The 47-year-old has no doubt got multiple fishing experience, but nothing to be compared with sight of the bright blue lobster.
The special crustaceans are so-coloured because of a genetic abnormality that causes them to produce more of a certain protein than others.
Mr. Greenhowe who amazingly found it on Thursday morning when creels were brought to the surface on his boat has no plans to cook this one.

‘I spotted it straight away and put him in a box on his own’, he told BBC Scotland.
‘I have never seen one before, and I have been fishing since I was 14.’
Mr. Greenhowe said a normal lobster of that size – about 1.5kg (3.3lbs) – would be worth around £25.
Although a blue one would be worth much more, he either wants to give it to an aquarium or put it back in the sea.
‘It’s not about the money – it should continue its life’, he said.
‘I will phone Macduff Aquarium to see if they want it, if not I will put him back.
‘It’s so rare, it would be a shame to put it in a pot.’
Lobsters are typically dark brown or grey, before turning pink when cooked.
Fishermen who come across blue lobsters believe it to be a sign of good luck and usually do not eat it.
Meanwhile, despite their rarity, it is believed that another UK fisherman caught one in April off the coast of Cornwall.
National Daily further learnt that Tom Lambourn, 25, from Newlyn, captured the foot-long colourful crustacean in his lobster pot when he was fishing in Penzance.
He photographed the ‘very very rare’ creature before releasing it back into the sea as it was ‘too small to bring into land’.
The discovery of the blue creatures have made headlines over the years, but there are other even rarer colours.
