5 farmers murdered in Modakeke; Ife in panic
Ile-Ife and Modakeke are in panic as no fewer than five persons were found murdered on their way to farm.
The bodies were found in Modakeke in the early morning of Friday at Toro road.
The Osun State Police spokesperson, SP Yemisi Opalola, confirmed the incident.
She added that a team of police operatives has been drafted to the towns.
A major institution in Ile Ife, the Obafemi Awolowo University, shut its main gate, too.
