Director hangs himself hours to EFCC interrogation
Christopher Orji was going to sit across the table at the EFCC office in Abuja, and answer questions bordering on financial crimes. But he was found dead later.
Orji, 59, was an assistant director at the National Biotechnology Development Agency (NABDA).
He was the agency’s Bioresource Centre coordinator in Langtang, Plateau State.
Since his body was found strung up to a ceiling fan at his residence in Federal Housing Authority Estate, Lugbe, police suspected suicide.
Investigation of the circumstances surrounding his death has started, Daily Trust quoted NABDA sources.
NABDA has yet to explain officially.
