How killers used same weapon to wipe out family in 3 years

In what looks like an effort to wipe out a matriarchy at Abusoro, Ijoka, Akure, some unseen hands have finally killed a lonely woman identified as Yemisi Ajayi, stamping out the last figure in the family.

She was stabbed five times in her bed.

Her only child, Oluwaseun Ajila, was killed in the same manner in 2018—in the same house.

The killers have not been identified yet, let alone brought to justice.

Neighbours could not contain their emotion as the news spread round Madam Ajayi was stabbed to death.

Some of them said a young girl living with her was the first to see her in blood-soaked cloths the killers used to prevent the blood from streaming out.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Funmilayo Odunlami confirmed the killing, and said investigation has begun.
