3 men arrested with fake N17m notes
Operatives of the Nigeria Police Force, Kebbi State command, have arrested three persons in Warrah town of Ngaski Local Government Area of the state with N17 million fake Naira notes.
The Commissioner of Police in the state, CP Ahmed Magaji Kontagora, confirmed this while parading the suspects at the police headquarters in Birnin Kebbi, the state capital.
Kontagora explained that the suspects were arrested with the assistance of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) at the Warrah motor park.

The CP said, “On 29\/01\/2023, police personnel attached to Warrah Police Station with the help of NURTW at Warrah motor park, arrested 3 persons in possession of currency notes worth the sum of N17,000,000 reasonably suspected to be counterfeit.
The suspects are Faruku Zubairu, Ibrahim Musa and Salish Muhammed. Investigation has been completed and the suspects will soon be charged to court for prosecution.”
