NDLEA arrests 65-year-old woman for being in possession of drugs worth over N4m
Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Rivers State Command have arrested a 65-year-old woman identified as Angela Sunday for drug trafficking and in possession of 800 grammes of methamphetamine with a street value of N4 million.
In a statement signed by NDLEA Public Affairs Officer, Media and Advocacy Unit Mr Emmanuel Ogbumgbada, said the agency conducted a state-wide raids and detained three drug lords.
He stated: “On Thursday, April 6, at around 5:00 p.m., members of the Command carried out a raid operation at Odagwa, Etche, and arrested one Angela Sunday who was in possession of 800 grammes of methamphetamine with a street value of N4 million.”
According to him, the woman was also found in possession of 59 grams of heroin and 250 grams of cannabis sativa.
