APGA ‘ll boost Nigeria’s economy – Presidential aspirant, Umeadi says

The Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Prof. Peter Umeadi and Plateau State Governorship candidate, Samuel Abashe has promised to reposition Nigeria and Plateau State for economic prosperity if elected into office  in 2023.

“I assure you that APGA is going to win the 2023 presidential election and also  win the governorship election in Plateau State to bring the desired change that Nigerians and Plateau people yearns for.

Prof. Umeadi made the disclosure yesterday  during the flagged off of the Governorship campaign of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), held at Bukuru Mini Stadium in  Jos South LGA.

“We will concentrate in making children, women youths and the disable great through repositioning the country for the good of Nigerians.”

He urged the people to come out and vote during the 2023 election and assured them that their vote will count with the new Electoral Act.

Prof. Amaedi said he will not be a President that will remained in office but that he “will be seen in the markets, hospitals, schools to know the feelings of the people with a view to address issues that affects them.

Meanwhile Plateau State Gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Samuel  Abashe urged Plateau people to give him their mandate and he will end violence and enthrone economic prosperity in the state.

“I am a grade II teacher, I know what education is all about, I am a retired Military officer, I know what security means and I have work with the United state and I know what development is all about. We will work to secure and provide development for the people.

“With me, Plateau will embrace our diversity and we will be Peaceful. With your mandate, Plateau will not see violence again.”

He explained that people have been concerned about lack of conducive working environment, saying “they can’t go to school, they can’t go to farm and they can’t do business freely” but assured them that he will work to provide the enabling environment for them to thieve.

Abashe said Plateau is rich but the people are poor due to bad leadership and also promise to provide the required leadership for people to have money in their pockets.

A representative of the Igbo community in Plateau State, Chief Mike Chibuke said God will use Abashe and Prof. Peter to bring change in Plateau and Nigeria.

He said both the young and the old, the poor and the rich are crying due to the current economic hardship inflicted on Nigerians and expressed optimism that APGA government will make things work again.

A Chieftain of APGA, Elder Patrick Dung said the Governorship candidate, Sam Abshe, a retired Military officer who has work within and outside the shores of Nigeria for peace keeping will bring to bear his expertise in halting insecurity in the state.

He said Abashe will develop the agricultural, educational, health and other sector of the economy for the good of Plateau State.
