WHO confirms 1,130 death toll from Coronavirus outside China
- 118,326 infections cases recorded globally
World Health Organisation has confirmed that 1,130 people have died from COVID-19 outside China.
The global health agency disclosed that more than 110 countries and regions have reported 118,326 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
This includes 37,371 cases outside China, which marked 4,627 more infections globally, among which 4,596 new cases are outside China.
The Director-General of the World Health Organisation, Tedros Ghebreyesus, disclosed that the organization has been assessing the outbreak around the clock, noting that the organisation is deeply concerned both by the alarming levels of spread, severity, and by the alarming levels of inaction.
Some countries have placed travel ban on citizens to and fro some international entities.
