Coronavirus pandemic: CBN disburses N100bn loan assistance to health laboratories
The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) on Wednesday announced N100 billion loan support to health laboratories in Nigeria.
The CBN Governor, Godwin Emiefele, explained that the loan scheme is part of the CBN’s intervention in the economy following the impact of COVID 19.
Emiefele also disclosed that that the CBN has increased its intervention in the manufacturing sector with N1 trillion loan aid.
Emefiele, therefore, directed all commercial banks in the country to assist pharmaceutical companies and the Healthcare industry.
The CBN Governor assured that the Bank will in few days continue to disburse funds its support for the economy.
