Apo Quarters suspends Imam from Mosque for criticism of Buhari

The Chief Imam, Shiekh Nuru Khalid, of the Apo Legislative Quarters Mosque has been suspended from ministering in the Mosque for criticizing President Muhammadu Buhari over the repeated attacks on the Kaduna bound train from Abuja by bandits and the killing and kidnapping of some passengers. The Imam was suspended by the  Committee of Apo Legislative Quarters Mosque, which did not accept the  criticism of President Buhari over the Abuja-Kaduna train attack by the Imam.

The Imam had taken a position in line with Nigerian citizens over the ineffectiveness of the country’s security system in dealing with current security crisis in Nigeria. Even the President of Niger Republic at the weekend told President Buhari to change the security strategy in dealing with the bandits and Boko Haram terrorism in Nigeria.
