Man arrested for allegedly stealing name-posts from graves
The Kano Police Command on Tuesday announced the arrest of a 19-year-old man who visits graveyards to st£al name posts on sepulchres.
The Kano Police spokesperson, SP Abdullahi Kiyawa, revealed that the suspect was arrested with 28 of such iron boards after allegedly stealing them from Tudun Wada cemetery in Kano city.
According to reports, the suspect confessed at the Police headquarters that he visits the grave around 3:00 am to st£al the name boards. He added that he sells the boards to iron smiths at N300 per kilo.
