Obasanjo begins 3-day visit to Osun State
Former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo arrived Osogbo, Osun State on Friday, to commence a three-day working visit to the state of the living spring.
In a release by his Special Assistant on Media, Kehinde Akinyemi, the former President arrived Osogbo at about 5.30pm in company of his wife, Bola, associates Chief Oyewole Fasawe and Olagoke Olubusi.

He was received by the State Deputy Governor, Mr. Kola Adewusi and some other top government officials at the new Presidential Lounge inside the State Government House, Osogbo.
Among top events that the former President was expected to witness is the formal installation as the Asiwaju Ede of Ede land, which coincides with the Governor’s birthday on Monday, in Ede the ancient town.
The governor hosted the visiting Elder Statesman and his entourage to a dinner at the new edifice.
