According to a report, @BashirAhmaad “former President Muhammadu Buhari continued receiving Sallah homage at his Daura residence.
“He separately received former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, and his team; former Kaduna State Governor, Malam Nasir el-Rufai, and his team, and former Borno State Governor, Sen. Ali Modu Sheriff.”

The visits have been generating concerns in the polity, culminating in speculation of new political calculations towards 2027 elections.
Some stakeholders were of the insinuation that the visits may translate to a new Northern agenda towards the 2027 general elections. The stakeholders emphasized that this could lead to North versus South if the speculated agenda is real.

However, Shehu Sani was of the view that @ShehuSani “If the Daura visit is a sallah homage that’s okay.
“If it’s a political mission, it’s like trekking in the Sahara.”
