2019: Atiku signs Presidential Peace Accord
The Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar, has signed the Peace Accord towards the February 2019 presidential election.
Atiku Abubakar, PDP presidential candidate, signed the 2019 Elections Peace Accord at the Kukah Centre, Abuja, on Wednesday. He signed under the watch of Atta Barkindo, Director, Kukah Centre; General Abdulsalami Abubakar, former Head of State and Chairman, National Peace Committee, PDP National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus, and others.
Atiku was absent on Tuesday when other presidential candidates, including President Muhammadu Buhari, presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, signed the Peace Accord at the International Women Centre, Abuja.
