The media aide to the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, Paul Ibe has explained why Atiku travelled to Europe on Friday.
The former Vice President travelled on Friday after he and his vice presidential candidate, Gov. Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta state met with the leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) on Friday.
Ibe in a statement said the former Vice President travelled to Europe on a business trip in continuation
of an earlier business trip of 3 weeks ago.
“At the conclusion of his European trip, the former Vice President will also use the opportunity to visit his family in Dubai.
“His trip is for business and family purposes and has nothing to do with medicals as being insinuated in some quarters,” he added.
