The Emir of Moriki in Zamfara, Alhaji Samai’la Muhammad-Ari, on Tuesday marked his 25th anniversary on the throne with a special prayer for peace and stability in Nigeria.
The prayer session was held at the Emir’s palace on Tuesday in Moriki.
“I am using this medium to thank Allahu Subhanallahu Wata’ala for sparing our lives to witness this moment.
“We also thank the Almighty for giving us the opportunity to celebrate this event to mark 25 years on the throne as Emir of Moriki.
“As we gather here to conduct special prayers to Allah and thank him for His kind gestures of allowing us to witness this happy moment, we pray to Allah for the sustenance of peace and stability in the state and country in general.
“I call on our people to also use the holy period of Ramadan to offer special prayers for peace and development of Moriki emirate, Zurmi local government area and the entire Zamfara state,” the emir said.
