Reactions trail Teni’s attitude to President Buhari during presentation of national honour (Video)
It will interest you to note that Nigerians have called out Teniola Apata popularly known as Teni over disrespecting President Buhari after receiving her national award. According to the Vanguard, it was gathered that her body language during the National Honours Award Investiture ceremony on Tuesday stirred reactions. It should be recalled that the President conferred national honours of different to 447 Nigerians and some foreigners.
Some Nigerians have said that her reaction was rude. After receiving the award of the Member of the Order of the Niger, MON, Teni walked away from President Buhari without paying any obeisance. Adamu Garba, a former presidential aspirant while reacting to her action disclosed that whoever disrespects the office of the President is an illegitimate and ungrateful Nigerian.

From all indications, a majority of Nigerians are not happy with the way Teni reacted to President Buhari after receiving her national honour. Even if she is aggrieved disrespecting the president is not the best way to go about it. The office of the President is supposed to be respected as the number citizen.
