Zara Onyinye reacts to a collage portrait portraying Peter Obi as Jesus between 2 thieves
Zara Gift Onyinye who has been showing extreme support for the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has reacted to a college portrait where Peter Obi, Tinubu and Atiku Abubakar are merged together.
The portrait presents Peter Obi of the Labour Party as Jesus Christ of the Christians between two thieves. Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress and Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party were used to represent the two thieves.
There is an inscription on the picture which confirms the intention of whoever that created the portrait. The inscription reads, “a rare picture of Jesus and the two thieves”.
The picture reflects on the biblical story of how Jesus Christ of Christians was crucified between two thieves. Christians today see Jesus as their Messiah and redeemer.
However, the picture was meant to sarcastically describe the qualities of the top three presidential candidates, relating Peter Obi as Jesus Christ who will deliver Nigeria, Bola Tinubu and Atiku Abubakar as the two thieves between whom Jesus was crucified.
No matter the information or sense the picture is trying to make, Zara Onyinye didn’t find it appealing to her sense of reasoning.
While reacting to the portrait, Zara Onyinye referred to it as blasphemy 100 percent.
She believes that whoever that created the portrait is an illiterate and nothing more. She said that he or she has an intention to play on religion using the picture, referred to them as a fanatic and bigot.
She said that anyone can bring Peter Obi into anything, but the Presidential candidate is beyond reasoning. She however said that they will continue to rapidly scrutinize Peter Obi as the campaign commences proper.
According to her, at the end of their scrutinies, his supporters who portrays him as an Angel will realize that he is not what he made them believe he is.
