My father has been sleeping with me since 2014—17-yr-old

A 17-year-old girl has told on her 45-year-old father Nelson Akinsowon that has been sleeping with her since 2014, and she has to run away from home.

The girl told policemen at the Fagun Police Division in Ondo town, Ondo West Local Government Area.

Her father, a teacher, started the abuse after her mother left home because of poor health. And Akinsowon’s other woman preaching to her about virginity was not aware.

According to the girl, the father threatened to kill her if she exposed him.

“This made me run away from the house till I was invited by the police to come to the station.”

She has also confided in family members about what has been going on.

He has denied the allegations.

“It was her mother that cooked up the story against me just to tarnish my image in the society because she is no longer staying with me as my wife. I never slept with my daughter,” the father said.
