EFCC speaks on unwell Bawa collapsing in Aso Rock, confirms chairman’s health condition now
The EFCC has made an official statement about the collapse of its chairman Abdulrasheed Bawa inside Aso Villa Sept. 16.
He was delivering a speech during the celebration of the National Identity Day when he crumbled on his knees.
Digital Economy Minister Isa Pantami helped him to his seat before officials rushed him out.
In a statement by the commission after the incident, it is stated the 41-year-old felt woozy during the speech.
”This clarification became necessary following an incident today September 16, 2021, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja where he was giving a goodwill message to the National Identity Day celebration, felt unwell and had to return to his seat,” said EFFC spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren.
”He has since received medical attention and is due back at his desk,” he said.
