Cross River State on Thursday boiled as youths went on rampage protesting abandoned road projects in the state. The youths taking their protest to several locations in the state, blocked the Akwa Ibom end of the Calabar-Itu federal highway, demanding the construction of the road which contract was awarded several times by the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.
