Ukraine claims superiority, urges Russian soldiers to lay down arms, promises safety
Ukraine on Friday appears to display favourable outcome of the war in the country, urging Russian soldiers to lay down their arms and surrender, promising to preserve their life and safety.
The Defence Minister of Ukraine, Oleksiy Reznikov, accordingly, told Russian troops on Friday to lay down their arms, assuring the preservation of their “life and safety” after they surrender. he told them to save Russia from humiliation in the aftermath of Ukraine troops killing Russian soldiers and reclaiming annexed territories.
Defence minister Reznikov, in a video, speaking to Russian troops, said: “You can still save Russia from tragedy and the Russian army from humiliation.
“We guarantee life, safety, and justice for all who refuse to fight immediately. And we will ensure a tribunal for those who gave criminal orders.
“You have been deceived and betrayed” by the Kremlin.
“It’s easier for them to tell you that you died heroically in a battle against imaginary NATO hordes. It is true that NATO countries are supplying us with weapons. But it is Ukrainian soldiers who are beating you with these weapons.
“Ukrainian soldiers do not need Russian lands, we have enough of our own. And we are taking them all back.”
