Gov. Umahi fires LG APC coordinator

Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State, on Wednesday, fired the local government coordinator of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Edda North Development Centre in Afikpo South LG.

The Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Dr Kenneth Ugbala, in a statement in Abakaliki on Wednesday, declared that Governor Umahi has “approved the suspension of Enyim Okoro as the Coordinator of Edda North Development Centre in Afikpo South local government area of the state for dereliction of duty.”

The SSG ordered Okoro to handover all government property in his possession to the SSG Office before the close of work on Wednesday; instructing, “please ensure strict compliance to this directive.”
