2023 Election : Fola Tinubu led support group storms Shomolu/Bariga, campaign for Tinubu, Sanwo-Olu others

The Director General/Vice Chairman Bola Tinubu for President 2023 Support Group (#BTFP) Mr Fola Tinubu and other stakeholders in the Shomolu/Bariga federal constituency, have advanced reasons why the All Progressives Congress led administration should continue in Nigeria.

Speaking during the fifth roadshow staged by the group around Shomolu/ Bariga and environs, Fola Tinubu, Hon. Biodun Orekoya Shomolu 1 constituency, Hon. Oluwafemi Apata Shomolu 2 constituency candidates at the state Assembly, the House of Representatives lawmaker in the constituency Hon. Ademorin Kuye and host of others took turns to recount the great feats attained by the party’s members holding political offices and the antecedents of their presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In his words Fola Tinubu noted that he is confident that massive vote awaits APC candidates across board most especially Bola Ahmed Tinubu, whom he claimed is the President Nigerians have been waiting for.

“APC is the only solution to Nigeria’s problems, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the President we’ve all been waiting for and God willing, he will come in February 25th and he will lead us to the Nigeria of our dreams.

“Moreso you’ve seen what Governor Sanwo-Olu is doing in Lagos state he will continue to do it, Infrastructuraly wise he has done tremendously well.

“So we are asking everybody to vote APC from the President all the way to the House of Assembly.

On the next line of action about the roadshow the #BTFP DG noted that they still eight more to do in Lagos, while they have plans to extend it across states in southwest covering Ondo, Osun,Oyo,Ekiti and Ogun.

“What we are trying to do is to carry the message around let the people know about it where they reside and work, so instead asking them to come us, we take the campaign down to them.” Said Fola Tinubu.

He could not hide his appreciation for the massive turnout of party faithful from Shomolu/Bariga area, adding that their acceptance is a testimonial to the fact that they are at home with APC.

The Coordinator of #BTFP Shomolu/Bariga Hon Sesan Olanrewaju and the group’s Head of Mobilization and logistics Otunba Jide Oduyoye were on hand to guide the itinerary of the campaign train in and around Shomolu/Bariga Federal constituency.

The teeming party loyalists and members wielding campaign banners and posters of APC presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu/Senator Kashim Shettima, Senate, House of Reps and Lagos State House of Assembly candidates, singing and dancing to the admiration of passers-by as they take the message across.

The campaign train which took off from Shiro Street to Morroco paid a royal homage to Oba Habib Bashua at his palace in Shomolu later moved through Fola Agoro,Odunlami,Abiodun Street to Shomolu Market,Bajulaiye Road,Pedro,Igbo -Igunnu,Jagunmolu Bariga Market to Oworo Junction and terminated at New garage Bariga.

Commenting earlier on the improvement in the electoral process and the need to ensure Nigeria democracy thrives for the benefit of all, Hon. Ademorin Kuye charged electorates to vote APC adding that , “APC is Lagos our people are with us, they appreciate what the government is doing both at the state and at the federal.

“In Lagos state right now we have our own rail system the first of it’s kind in Nigeria and we are leveraging on this record of performance by the Governor Sanwo-Olu and the antecedents of our presidential candidate when he was Governor here and what he has been able to do out of government.

“He built other people, building leaders for this country and we are proud to associate with him, we know our people will reciprocate this gesture with massive support.

On the advancement in the electoral process Kuye make bold to state that the electoral law which successive governments failed to do has been consummated by APC led government.

“We passed the new electoral law which successive governments have failed to do, we have been able to do it because we want the best electoral process for this country, we want our democracy to be transparent and to be advanced as other nations, so that everybody will feel safe.

He charged electorates especially constituents of Shomolu/Bariga Federal constituency, on the need for someone with requisite leadership qualities to take on the reins of power in the country.

“We are at a crossroad in this country where leadership is more demanded than before and Asiwaju is the person that will do it for us.” Said Kuye.

Also the Executive Chairman Bariga LCDA Hon Kayode Alabi, Hon Salau Ahmed A.K.A Dullar the Executive Chairman of Shomolu Local Government and other stakeholders were all out in support of the roadshow, which was seamless all through.

Kolade Alabi noted that it is pertinent for people to pick up their PVCS ahead of the election adding that it is more of a civic responsibility to vote the best candidate.

He also commend the #BTFP initiative describing it as a wonderful and quite encouraging feat.

Hon Afeez Ipesa Balogun an APC stakeholder and former Oshodi Isolo council Chairman and former House of Assembly member was quick to add that Lagos being the home base state for Asiwaju need put up, “millions of vote to counter balance whatever is coming from the East”.

For Miss Anthonia also an integral part of the #BTFP counseled the youths and women to pick up their PVC so as to be able to vote APC candidates all through, adding that more dividends of democracy will come to the people by their massive votes for the party.
