Sit at Home: Protests erupt in Enugu over sealing of businesses
Protest is currently rocking Enugu, Coal City capital, over the sealing of businesses by the State Government.
Recall that the State Government had on Monday sealed many businesses, including shops at the Ogbete Main Market for not opening on Monday.
Governor Peter Mbah had upon assumption of office placed a ban on the regular Monday sit-at-home imposed by a faction of IPOB.
However, many residents are yet to comply with the government’s directive out of fear of possible attack by hoodlums.

But on Monday, government officials moved from place to place sealing business outfits. The government has also given conditions the affected traders must meet before their shops would be reopened.
The development has now sparked protests by Ogbete Market traders.
In a trending video, they are seen marching within the metropolis, chanting angry songs.
