Yusuf John-Suberu Foundation has commended FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, for his exceptional work in improving Abuja’s security, infrastructure, and overall living conditions. In a recent gathering, Foundation Executive Director, Dr. Yusuf Suberu, highlighted Wike’s accomplishments and praised President Bola Tinubu’s decision to appoint him to the role, noting that his leadership has brought about significant positive change in the capital.
The Dr. Yusuf John-Suberu Foundation has praised the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, for his remarkable contributions to improving security, infrastructure, and overall quality of life in Abuja.
At a dinner with journalists on Wednesday in Abuja, the Foundation’s Executive Director, Dr. Yusuf Suberu, expressed admiration for Wike’s leadership, highlighting his pivotal role in the success of President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
Suberu described Wike as a “key strength” of the government, noting that his diligent efforts have earned him nationwide recognition.
He pointed to Wike’s achievements in his first year as Minister, particularly the completion of numerous road projects across the FCT.
“Under Wike’s leadership, Abuja has experienced a major infrastructural turnaround. From widespread road construction and rehabilitation in nearly every district, to the creation of new parks and the relocation of business premises, these developments have significantly reshaped the city,” Suberu said.
A key highlight, according to Suberu, is the anticipated launch of the Abuja light train service, which is set to transform the city’s transportation network.

In closing, Suberu reiterated the Foundation’s commitment to supporting President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda, stating that the organization would continue to work towards addressing Nigeria’s longstanding challenges alongside the current administration.
“We are proud of Wike’s accomplishments, and we express our gratitude to President Tinubu for entrusting him with the vital role of transforming Abuja,” he concluded.
