APC government is a government of liars — Atiku
Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar at a consultation meeting with Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) members in Enugu State on Thursday noted that the All Progressives Congress (APC) government is a government is a liar which does not keep to promises made to Nigerians.
He remarked that APC promised three million jobs annually but the country has been recording job losses, leading to the “worst form of insecurity” in the country.
He had declared: “This government is a government of liars. They promised three million jobs per annum but Nigeria has been losing three million jobs every year.
“This job loss has brought the worst form of insecurity in the country. We are facing challenging times in Nigeria. Today, economy is at its lowest ebb and the greatest challenge is unemployment.”
National Daily further gathered that former Vice President Atiku was welcomed by his supporters at the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu, for the consultation with PDP stakeholders in the state in his nationwide campaign for the PDP presidential ticket.
The former vice president was said to have held a closed door meeting with Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi at the Enugu Government House.
