Atiku, Fintiri charge Muslims to imbibe virtues of Prophet Muhammad
Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, at a joint worship at the Yola Town Eid Ground with Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State, and others, charged millions of Muslims all over the world to imbibe the virtues of Prophet Muhammed. Observing the two raka’at prayers, in commemoration of the 2021 Eid-El-Kabir Sallah celebration in Yola, the former Vice President and the Adamawa Governor were said to have encouraged Muslims to celebrate the day by promoting peace and unity and follow the exemplary virtues of Prophet Muhammad.
Atiku had further appealed to Nigerians to participate in the current continuous voter registration (CVR) by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to ensure they exercise their rights to choose the leaders they want in the 2023 general elections.
The Chief Imam of Modibbo Adamawa Central Mosque, Khadi Ahmadu Bobboi, was said to have in his sermon, emphasized on the significance of the Eid-El-Kabir to Muslims. The Chief Imam further highlighted the importance of sacrificing healthy animals.
