NSCDC arrests 11 illegal miners in Kwara
The Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, NSCDC, Kwara State Command, pm Wednesday disclosed the arrest of 11 illegal miners in Lade Community, a suburb of Patigi town, Patigi Local Government Area Kwara State.
NSCDC Public Relations Officer, Olasunkanmi Ayeni, at the parading the suspects at the Command’s Headquarters, Ilorin, asserted that the illegal mining activities in the state are obvious economic sabotage, and also have security implications, noting that bandits use the mining avenues to perpetrate evil in the society.
