Tension intensifies in Kyiv, Mayor declares fresh curfew
Tension has intensified in Kyiv, capital of Ukraine, as Russian forces encroaches near the city. This has forced Mayor Vitali Klitschko of Kyiv to declare fresh curfew in the capital on Monday, which extends to Wednesday morning.
Klitschko on Monday wrote on Telegram, the curfew “will begin at 8:00 pm (1800 GMT) and last until 7:00 am (0500 GMT) on March 23.”
