Panic as fire razes arrival wing of Lagos Int’l Airport
Power outage triggered by a fire outbreak at the E-Arrival Finger of the Lagos International Airport threw the old terminal into confusion on Thursday morning.
Workers and passengers at the facility pulled out of the section where thick smoke was billowing to the larger departure hall.
It was gathered that the fire started at a section of the primary gateway airport as staff were going about their daily routine with passengers on standby.

The fire outbreak was said to have been caused by a faulty cable on the tarmac, with the fire razing a section of the administrative office of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria Tuesday night.
Though normal operations continued at the terminal, a team of firefighting personnel and their equipment have been deployed to put out the fire.
