NPF Welfare: IGP sets up scholarship foundation for officers’ children
In a bid to further guarantee the welfare of officers and men of the Nigeria Police Force for a robust quality service delivery to the members of the public, the Inspector General of Police, Solomon Arase has set up scholarship foundation to sponsor talented children of serving and deceased Police officers, both at primary and secondary school levels.
According to a statement in Abuja Wednesday, the Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olabisi Kolawole said the forms for the scholarship scheme are available at all Police children and secondary schools for collection by interested pupils and students of Police officers and men.
She added that the scholarship scheme is in line with the Policy Trust of IGP Arase, “which is aimed at improving the standard of living of Police Officers and men, including their services to Nigerians.”
