Edo PDP blasts APC over frivolous statement
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State has blasted the All Progressives Congress (APC) over frivolous statement and for parading impostors as party executives in the state. The party expressed surprise over a statement purportedly from the “now defunct Edo APC”. The noted that the statement was signed by one Victor Ofure Osehobo who claimed to be the Assistant Publicity Secretary of APC Edo State.
PDP declared: “The whole country and, particularly, Edo people, are aware that APC in Edo State has no executive, especially, at the state level as it was dissolved soon after they suffered a resounding defeat just over a year ago.”
According to PDP “just like the dodo, APC is not just dead in Edo, it is extinct and defunct ditto it’s genetic relative, EPM, comparable only to Rodrigues solitaire.”
PDP citing Wikipedia, highlighted that “the dodo is an extinct flightless bird that was endemic to the island of Mauritius, east of Madagascar in the Indian Ocean. The dodo’s closest genetic relative was the also-extinct Rodrigues solitaire, the two forming the subfamily Raphinae of the family of pigeons and doves.” Wikipedia”
The PDP in a statement by the State Publicity Secretary, Chris Osa Nehikhare, scorned Osehobo, saying he deserves no response.
