Ikorodu LCDA boss commends Gov. Sanwo-Olu for approving camp
The Executive Chairman, Igbogbo Bayeku Local Council Development Area, Mr Olusesan Daini has commended Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu for giving approval to the Lagos State Sports Commission (LSSC) to organise the Sports Summer Camp in Ikorodu.
Daini, according to a statement issued by LSSS Director of Public Relations, Titi Oshodi-Eko, made the commendation when he visited the campers at the Oriwu College, Ikorodu.
“The Executive Chairman attested that the camping would enable the campers to have a better relationship and promote team work.
“Daini urged the campers to transform what they are learning at the Lagos Sports Summer Camp to a life changing activities for a better tomorrow.
“Daina stressed that the participants could be a producer of large power banks if they concentrate on what you were being taught, one of the main reasons of the summer camp,” she said.
Oshodi-Eko added that the chairman promised to reward campers during the closing ceremony of the seven-day event on Saturday.
“The seven-day Phase Two of the Three Phase camping which is 60 per cent sports and 40 per cent of teaching life skills will end on Saturday, Aug. 28 while the Phase 3 for Lagos Central will hold from Sept. 5 to Sept. 11 in Surulere,” she said
