Macron is acting in a rather clumsy manner – Lavrov
Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Sergey Lavrov, has berated President Emmanuel macron of France over threat of nuclear war against Russia in relation to the war in Ukraine.
Lavrov cautioned that “Unlike his predecessors—Napoleon and Hitler—who also wanted to wage war against Russia, Macron is acting in a rather clumsy manner.”
According to Lavrov, “He apparently wants to defeat and conquer Russia,” Lavrov said about Macron’s nuclear threats.
“Unlike his predecessors—Napoleon and Hitler—who also wanted to wage war against Russia, Macron is acting in a rather clumsy manner.
“They openly said: ‘We need to conquer Russia, we need to defeat Russia.’ He apparently wants the same thing, but for some reason, he claims that fighting Russia is necessary to prevent it from defeating France.
“Macron proudly declares that he will call Putin. He has such opportunities. No one is forbidding him.”
