3 injured as truck rams into worshippers in Niger mosque
A truck rammed into a mosque in Suleja, a town in Niger State, in the early hours of Tuesday, leaving three persons including a child severely injured.
According to an eyewitness, Usman Haruna, who spoke to our correspondent on the phone, the accident occurred around 6am when a majority of the worshipers who converged for the early morning prayers had dispersed.
He said worshippers trapped in the rumbles included women and a child, adding that the trailer fell on the back section of the mosque where women and children pray.
