Buhari mourns passing of Ivorian Prime Minister, Bakayoko
President Muhammadu Buhari has learnt with sadness the passing of the Prime Minister of Cote d’Ivoire Hamed Bakayoko.
On behalf of the Government and people of Nigeria, President Buhari conveyed his deepest condolences to the family of the Prime Minister, President Alassane Ouattara, the Government and people of Cote d’ Ivoire as they mourn the death of Bakayoko, few months after the demise of his predecessor.
President Buhari expressed the belief that the late Prime Minister, who was a close confidant of President Ouattara, would be greatly missed in the country and West Africa and fondly remembered for his deep commitment in strengthening unity and cooperation.
The President prayed for the repose of the soul of the deceased and comfort for his loved ones and all who mourn.
