UPDATE: Corps member Ifeyinwa dehumanized by soldier now on the run
After her abuser Lt. Chika Viola Anele was arrested by the military police, Ezeiruaku Ifeyinwa Fidelis fled Calabar where she was serving at a military formation in the state.
Her abuse by the female officer trended September 23 after rights activist and journalist Agba Jalingo posted the picture of Viola bathing the lady in some white fluid.
The hashtag justice for Ifeyinwa started trending, and the Nigerian army had to locate Viola, arrested her, and listed her for discipline.
But Ifeyinwa was serving as a youth corps member in the same military cantonment as Viola. Her safety became a concern for the NYSC authorities.
It is reported the state coordinator gave her transport fare, and asked her to leave the state in her own interest.
